2008 RWO Sponsored Pro - Am Series

The ISO class has made its intentions clear with regards its future. The class has a new sail plan and manufacturer, also a new hull manufacturer. RWO Marine Equipment Ltd still see the future of the class as a bright one and continue to sponsor the Pro-Am series for 2008.

The contribution by RWO Marine towards the circuit are money off vouchers for their products, as well as some accompanying hardware prizes. The vouchers range from £10 to £25 and can be collated throughout the year by the winners. At the end of the year the total amount held by the competitor are then redeemed through RWO Marine HQ at Benfleet in Essex, as full or part payment for one or more products manufactured by RWO.

Another brief reminder of what the Pro-Am series is all about - for those who have yet to come along to an event!

The Pro-Am, it is run along side the actual race meeting ie Nationals, Inlands, Multi Gala etc. After day 1 of the event, the results so far are used to pair up the top half of the fleet with the bottom half. The idea here is for the top guys to coach, their Am partners and tune their boats up, getting them up to speed whilst getting them involved with the fleet.
