Even though I am a fully paid up member I cannot access the member only rigging instruction. Please can you advise?
This is the second time this has occurred and Barry had to correct. I think it was this time last year.
My reply was:
And unfortunately it won’t be the last either. This is because a bank standing order requires somebody to check the bank statement to confirm payment has gone through. It will happen every year on the standing order anniversary, as well as for any payment not through PayPal.
Paypal is linked with the website and the website receives confirmation from PayPal when money has gone through.
You could cancel your Standing order with your bank and create a standing order with PayPal and this problem will not happen again.
Your account access level (if you click “My Subscriptions” on the left hand nav bar) shows you as “Registered Non Member”. To check for your standing order, Barry will have to look at his paperwork to manually confirm your payment. When confirmed, he will upgrade your membership manually to “Full Member (Standing Order)” and set the expiry date as per the standing order date.
This will start to happen now that the site has been up for over a year now. Just thought I'd let you all know. If this happens to you, use the
