Has anyone made their own Carbon Boom?

If so how easy was it and did it work?

There are a few around that have used the correct tube and added their own fittings, the one at the boat show was a good example, however drilling carbon is (i understand) quite difficult. This is a part that will be immediately available from Rooster. I will put a price on the site ASAP.
