Having a look on the OLD message board I saw this message :

For sure most of you can address his questions better than me

Answering Tim's question on the old message board:

User: timgrasse ---- Posted: 25-Mar-10 20:47
hi im thinking of moveing from my contender to a single trapeaze skiff. i have narrowed my choice to a Laser 4000 and an iso can you tell me why i should by an Iso instead of the 4000 and which is more funn for your money?
tim

Briefly - Dinghy Sailing Magazine did a boat comparison review in about 2007 I think it was, so you can read that via the "Downloads" / "Media" section of this ISO website. (It wasn't there until 5 minutes ago when I saw your question!)

With Rooster being the main dealer for ISO's and their bits, along with Rondar the selected manufacturer, I personally fell the ISO class is in a win win situation.

Tim,
my reply is less technical than the one from Pete...

Get an Iso and join the class :
You'll have an excellent boat, and more important you'll have a lot of fun, sailing with nice people...
so nice that I decided to travel 1000km last year in order to join your nationals
