Sunday, arrived early dog-tired, no inclination for boat assembly. Amazed to meet Mike Preater for the first time, must remember not to moan any more about my right knee which is showing first signs of arthiritis.

            <description><![CDATA[20 ISOs, coming from 4 countries (Italy, Uk, Germany and Nederlands) gathered today for the first day of racing in Brenzone, on the east side of Lake Garda, for ISO Eurocup 2010. The lake met all expectations, warm temperature, blue sky and wind spanning between 10-15 knots.

I have always hated the ISO dagger board, mainly due to its weight. On talking to some 49er people at my club. I found out that their boards are now up to a mark three dagger board, and as they are custom fit to the boat, there are spare old boards around.

            <title>Calshot-Lymington Long Distance Race</title>

            <description><![CDATA[Three ISO's, several catamarans and an RS200 participated in this years Calshot SC Long Distance Race. This is a fun race and something different from the usually small lap racing. In fact there are no buoys to round at all. Just sail down half of the solent from the start line off Calshot SC to a finish line at the Lymington starting platform.             <title>Ullswater Y.C. Regatta.</title>

            <description><![CDATA[The 7th/8th August was Ullswater Y.C. Regatta and another chance to sail in the beautiful setting of the Lake District. We left home in Halifax in heavy rain and a blustery wind, but by the time we reached Pooley Bridge and Ullswater came into view the rain had gone, but sadly, also most of the wind.
