The sailing department of the PST-Trier has 300 members. It is the biggest sailing club in Rhineland-Palatinate. In the last years the club intensified his activities in racing. There are three major events: Ascension Day Races, Schlosspokal Races and Dinghy Race. Further there are 4 Team races called Regatta Creative and between May and October every Wednesday 18:00 o'clock Wednesday Races. The water is a pond of the river Mosel 4.5km to 200 meters nearly without any current. Best sailing conditions guarantee winds from NE or SW.
