Tips, Tweaks, & Techniques

This is the area where you can find out how to set up and sail & or race the ISO.

This Tips & Tweaks section has been created to help all ISO sailors get the most enjoyment out of their ISO, whether it be racing on the ISO Circuit with all the other ISO's around the country, racing at their own sailing club, or even just having a blast around and enjoying being out on the water. The main aim is to get those dormant boats, which are laying in the various sailing clubs around the country, back out onto the water.

So you have your new / second hand / unused boat up onto the slipway and want to get onto the water, but the boat has lots of little snags, which need sorting, or work doing on it, but you don't know where to begin or even how to go about it. There are also those little things you didn't even know about, that if you do, will make sailing the boat so much easier. All hints and tips on this site have been provided by various people within the ISO class.

First of all read this section and take note. The sub sections within this Tips, Tweaks & Techniques section, have been placed in order so you start at the top and work your way down. A good tip is to print the pages out so that when you are next at your boat, you won't forget what you've got to do.
